The event, which is open to anyone who is facing separation issues, will be held at Holmes Attorneys office on Silbury Boulevard between 2pm-7pm, with the offer of a 45 minute free appointment to assist on all aspects of separation.<\/p>\n
Sian Aung, one of Holmes Attorneys leading family law solicitors says \u201cI\u2019ve set up this initiative with a counsellor from Relate and a mortgage advisor from the Mortgage Shop. This is very much a collaboration between us in an effort to provide a complete \u2018one-stop shop\u2019 on all matters which may arise in cases of separation, whether that\u2019s actually happening or it is a potential problem.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe separation clinic is to help people understand their legal position and their legal obligations on separation. We will also discuss options such as mediation, for which I am a qualified Family Mediator. People can also have a free appointment with Relate so that they can be made aware of what counselling and other services are available to help with any issues that may arise whether in relation to children or just themselves. Our mortgage advisor will give invaluable advice on what their housing options will be upon separation and information about eligibility for mortgages and options such as shared ownerships of property.\u201d<\/p>\n
The clinic will be by appointment only and each person will need to confirm either who they want to see or they can make three separate appointments to see each person. The initiative is on a first come basis and early booking for this entirely free opportunity is encouraged.<\/p>\n
