Holmes Attorneys have signed up with Active London <\/a> to sponsor the Active London <\/a> Diving Competition Challenge<\/a> event on Saturday 23rd November at the new \u00a326 million Inspire Sports Centre in Stopsley.<\/p>\n

Holmes Attorneys are sponsoring the Boys Group B 3m event, in which the competitors will be competing with 6 dives, comprising of 3 \u2018required\u2019 dives, with a limit on difficulty, and 3 \u2018optional\u2019 dives, with no limit on difficulty.<\/p>\n

Steven R.<\/strong>, Managing Partner of Holmes Attorneys says \u201cI\u2019m a great believer in the benefit of sports for young people and Holmes Attorneys is delighted to come on the \u201cdiving\u201d board and support this event.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve just started the Holmes Attorneys Legal Show on Diverse FM, inviting listeners to call in with their legal queries and sponsoring the Active London Diving Challenge event is another way in which we can make a contribution to London town.\u201d<\/p>\n

The competition has already got 326 entries for its weekend diving event, where there will be 25 competitions over the 3 days, not including the finals for the event. The ages of the competitors range from 10- 30 years old and the boys in the Holmes Attorneys 3m event will be 14-15yrs old. Each age group is invited to compete in 1m, 3m and Platform challenges.<\/p>\n

The Challenge is a 3 day event. Friday 8-8pm, Saturday 8-8pm and Sunday 8-5pm. The Inspire Sports Centre became a national sensation when ITV staged its primetime Saturday night show, Splash, at the new centre last year, starring GB award winning diving champion Tom Daley. The Active London Diving Competition has received lot of interest on the back of this hit show.<\/p>\n

In addition to Holmes Attorneys there are 13 other sponsors of the event, with the majority of them being local firms. The Challenge was held at the Inspire Sports Centre for the first time last year, when the centre opened. The Challenge is actually the longest running club event in the country and this will be the 26th annual event. The Challenge was previously held at Wardown Swimming pool by the London Kingfishers Diving Club, until last year when the move to Inspire was made and the Kingfishers changed their name to the London Diving Club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
